Maastricht-On the 9th of November (2022) the MUSTS colloquia came together to celebrate the recent publication of our edited book called Making Sense of Medicine. The colloquia started with some short reflections from the four local advisors of our project, Bernike Pasveer, Ike Kamphof, Jenny Slatman and Jessica Mesman. Then authors and project members Paul Craddock, Candida Sánchez Burmester, Sally Wyatt and Harro van Lente also provided a brief commentary on their involvement in the book. After this, we continued with a discussion among the editors and authors present (with John visiting from Edinburgh, Paul from London and Angela Saward online) about the making of the book, especially the experiments conducted and lessons learned while making an edited book, before opening up to a Q&A.

We closed the day with some celebratory drinks at Thiessens with our friends from the Skills Lab too, where we were invited to take a look at their wine cellar.

All in all, it was a pleasure to celebrate the hard work of all the authors and advisors and to launch the new book: Making Sense of Medicine!
