Grant Rounds talk at Groningen Hospital
01/02/24On the 12th of December Anna gave a Grant Rounds talk as part of a panel titled: ‘AI around the OR, Sensational or Insensible?”. During this evening there was an exploration into the future of the medical discipline of anaesthesia in the context of AI.
Anna, as an expert in studying human senses, offered insights into our understanding of sensory experiences within the context of the medical discipline. Alongside Anna, other speakers included Dr. I. Gkouzionis, the CEO of Aisthesis Medical IKE, a leading technology company specialized in AI, and JW. Boldingh, MD. a leading anesthesiologist at UMCG who combines “human senses” with predictive modeling.
This evening offered an exciting and an in-depth exploration of the recent developments in anesthesiology, emergency and intensive care, with special attention for big data and artificial intelligence.
